Medjugorje Visionary Informs The Sunday Times: “There Are More Than Ten Secrets”

In a compelling and rare new interview with The Sunday Times, the visionary Ivan Dragicevic has clarified and shared new information about the ten secrets.

The Times has informed us that Ivan have revealed new information about the secrets – confirming that there are – for sure – more than ten secrets.
Today the six visionaries of Medjugorje generally no longer accept media interviews, since the Vatican study on Medjugorje. The Sunday Times flew out to Medjugorje to conduct an extensive report and met with the visionary Ivan who made a very rare exception for this interview. Previously, in once incident, BBC producers once told of Fr Jozo Zovko who refused many BBC interviews, but strangely accepted to be on their documentary – telling them that “Our Lady” had guided him to say yes. The BBC documentary “Pilgrims” became a beautiful witness to the message of The Queen of Peace.
The Times reporter, Dominic Hauschild, whilst understandably writing a balance for both sceptics and believers, admits in his write up that he was “taken by his earnest demeanour” of Ivan as he interviewed the visionary,
Since the beginning of the apparitions Our Lady announced she has come to call the world to conversion in order to bring peace, and whilst this is her integral message she also began individually imparting to them secrets. These became known as ‘the ten secrets’ as Our Lady chose Mirjana to reveal each secret to the world 3 days before, what will happen and where, and gave her a parchment where the secrets will appear on written form.
Nowadays the visionaries rarely comment on the secrets, compared the initial years of the apparitions when the visionaries were imparted the ten secrets and answered a lot more. The visionaries guiding not to talk about secrets, that human behaviour to focus on the future whilst missing the present, and also the key message that Our Lady wants our peace and conversion.
During this exclusive interview with The Times, Ivan informed the reporter that there are even more than ten secrets “There are not ten secrets… We all have ten. Some of them we share in common and others we don’t.” Ivan tells The Sunday Times.
It has been speculated before whether each of the six visionaries have received a different set of ten secrets, due to the fact that they received them from Our Lady independently from each other and have not even discussed them with each other.
However Ivan informs The Times, this is not the case ‘there are not sixty secrets’. Vicka has also previously commented that she believes all six visionaries are given more or less the same secrets and that the Ten Secrets are for the whole of humanity, not privately for her. Ivan however tells The Times there are more than ten secrets. He does not tell Hauschild whether this means that he has been given some secret about himself which allows him to know this, or whether Our Lady has told him the visionaries don’t all have the exact same secrets or whether She has given him additional secrets to just ten.
Ivan also clarifies that it is a false rumour that he was told the future of his life, indicating perhaps the additional secret is not about him.
Our Lady permitted the visionaries to share that part of the third secret will be a permanent sign left of the Apparition Hill. Apparently when the visionary Mirjana saw the first secret she was devastated and asked Our Lady “does it have to be this way?” with Our Lady consequently asking her to count on her fingers how many people in the streets walk past churches and do not enter them “God cannot take this anymore”. However recently Mirjana has commented that things get made up about the visionaries in relation to the secrets. What is recorded in an interview with Padre Livio on Radio Maria is when Our Lady was told her the 7th secret, Mirjana gather her friends and fasted and prayed for three months, with Our Lady then updating her ‘a very small part’ of the seventh secret has been removed, but when she was then told the 8th, 9th and 10th secret Our Lady informed her nothing can change from these because “God’s Will must be done”
In the early days the message from Our Lady “Do not wait for the secrets to convert, for many it will be too late” caused speculation, but 44 years later it is understood that quite bluntly, many people have died in that time and if they waited for the secrets to convert they would have never done so.
Mirjana now does not talk about the secrets and reminds pilgrims that Our Lady’s mission is for us to come to God and bring peace “Don’t talk about secrets but pray. He who feels God as their father, and Mary as their mother, has no fear of the future. Who of any of us can say we will still be here (alive) in the next ten minutes? The future will be God’s, but the question is are you ready to go before God tomorrow or not?”
The visionaries today share a wisdom of not focussing on the future but on our own present moment and to strive to live that with God, that we can begin to live “heaven” on earth now if we follow Our Lady’s messages.
